Head Women's Coach

 Jennifer Elder

Coach Elder has played soccer for most of her life.  She played soccer for Challenge Soccer Club and at Klein High School. She went on to play for Texas Tech University on a soccer scholarship. While at Texas Tech she started every game and received a number of academic and athletic achievements. Coach Elder's most accomplished award was receiving the GTE Team Academic All-American for recognitions of outstanding academic and athletic excellence. She was named on the President's list for 3 consecutive years and graduated with a 3.7 GPA in Public Relations and Marketing.

After graduating, Coach Elder coached youth and select soccer for two years.  She also helped coach the Texas Tech University soccer camps for two years.

Coach Elder is a Physical Education teacher at Lemm Elementary.  She also assisted with the K.I.D.S. Camps during the summer.

Coach Elder is married to Richard Elder, Klein Collins Boys Soccer Coach.   They have three beautiful children, Zachary (7), Brandon (5), and Sydney (5)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Asst. and Junior Varsity  Coach

Jessica Dawson

One of the newest additions to the Klein Collins Tiger soccer coaching staff is Jessica Dawson. Coach Jessica Dawson has eighteen years of soccer experience. She grew up in the Klein area and played for the  Challenge Soccer Club. She attended the Adidas Elite Soccer Program which highlights the best high school aged boys and girls across the country.

 Coach Dawson went on to earn a scholarship to play for the Tulane Greenwave Women’s soccer team. Dawson saw action at both forward and midfield positions and was named Newcomer of the Year in her freshmen year. As a sophomore she lead the team in goals and set records in game-winning goals in a single season. Named to the Conference USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll every year at Tulane for academic excellence. In 2005, Dawson and team went through one of the biggest natural disasters in the history of our country, Hurricane Katrina. In her senior season, they were forced out of their homes and school in New Orleans and relocated to Texas A&M University for the semester.

Coach Dawson graduated in May of 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and a minor in Business. July 2006, she married Joey Dawson, a Klein Collins football coach.
